Solution: The correct word that should come in the place of blank will be ‘venerated’ which means to regard something with deep respect. All other alternatives fail to fit in the context of the sentence. Hence, the correct alternative will be option (b).

Solution: The correct word that should come in the place of blank will be ‘perspective’ which means a particularattitude towards or way of regarding something; a point of view. All other alternatives fail to fit in the context of the sentence. Hence, the correct alternative will be option (a).

3. Option (c)
Solution: Obfuscate means to deliberately make something confusing or unclear. Hence, the word that is opposite in meaning to the word ‘obfuscate’ is clarify. Clarify means to make something less confusing and more comprehensible.

4. Option (d)
Solution: Vestige means a trace or remnant of something that is about to disappear or no longer exists . Hence, the word that is opposite in meaning to the word ‘vestige’ is surfeit. Surfeit
means excessive amount of something.

Solution: Contagion means contamination or something that is capable of being passed by physical contact from one person to another. Therefore, the correct synonym to the word contagion is pestilence.

Solution: Incumbent means currently holding office or something that is necessary as a duty or responsibility. Therefore, the correct synonym to the word incumbent is reigning which means ruling.

Solution: Whenever ‘Look’ is used for ‘seeing’ purpose or ‘get to know’ purpose then it is an intransitive verb and with intransitive verb we do not use passive form. For eg: She looks pretty and not she looked pretty.
